Dooms Day:-
Tabari 1:224 "each day of the six in which He created corresponds to 1000 years. The conclusion is that the time elapsed from when Allah first began creating His creatures to when He finished is 7000 years. As proved to us earlier with the help of evidential statements, there is a duration of 7000 years from the time when our Lord finished to the moment of annihilation"

Psalm 90:4 " For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night"
The total of seven thousand years is expressed most clearly in the non-canonical Book of the Secrets of Enoch , which is also called 2 Enoch .
2 Enoch 33:1-2 "And I appointed the eighth day also, that the eighth day should be the first-created after my work, and that the first seven revolve in the form of the seventh thousand, and that at the beginning of the eighth thousand there should be a time of not-counting, endless, with neither years nor months nor weeks nor days nor hours.
Neither al Tabari nor Muhammad were inspired with this logic because this -like most of the stories in the Quran- was plagiarised and perverted from Rabbincal writings in the Midrash where in it is suggested that one of God's days is equal to 1000 Earth years.
In fact, Tabari alludes as to the origin of where these ideas came from in
"….as proved to us earlier with the help of evidential statements…"***
Tabari 1:181 " The Prophet said 'I was sent immediately before the coming of the Day of Doom I preceded it like this one preceding that one' -referring to his index and middle finger" 182 "he said 'Allah will not make this nation [of Islam] incapable of lasting half a day -a day being a thousand years- …Consequently, based upon the Prophet's authority,,
what remained of time was half a day that had elapsed to the Prophet's statement corresponds to 6500 years"
*** Based on Muhammad's prophecy, Dooms Day should have occurred 500 years after this 'revelation' which occured about 610 AD.
Well, as we all know, the year 1110 had passed and we are in the year 2006 AD without the prophecy of the infallible 'Prophet' having come true.
Muhammad's alleged prophesies could be counted on one hand none of which ever came true ***
